Sammy is a domestic Shorthair, Tuxedo youngster, born 3/29/13. His current weight is 10.9 lbs. Sammy came to our shelter 5/9/13, along with littermates & Mom. Abandoned by a creek, but found by a hiker. Sammy started out with us like any other kitten, but gradually he developed a bladder stone. First we tried a special food to basically disintegrate the stone, but when that proved unproductive, our veterinarian surgically removed the stone, analyzed the stone, & follow-up testing showed that was successful with no further problems. We are hoping to find a home where resident felines are currently fed Hill's CD. It is the most common feline prescription food in use today. Just a tad more expensive than premium brand food, but the beauty of this food, is that it keeps their urinary tract & bladder healthy. Of course, Sammy would be equally happy as a sole feline resident - as long as he maintains his Hill's CD diet. Let's see if this kitty has what it takes to be your best friend?! He is sweet (oh, so sweet!) He is gentle & docile, He has excellent house manners (including litter box trained). He loves other kittens & cats. Loves adults & kids to play or cuddle with. He is quite a lap kitty. Affectionate & handsome. He will live a happy, long life with you. Convinced? His $95. Adoption fee is very inclusive - he has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, tested negative for Feline Leukemia & FIV, plus he is current on monthly Frontline.
